Duties & responsibilities
The Science Teacher is expected to:
- Teach Science in accordance with the British curriculum.
- Deliver engaging lessons that help students understand and apply scientific concepts.
- Teach students at levels including GCSE.
- Plan and prepare lessons and educational activities.
- Support students with different abilities and learning needs.
- Contribute to an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
- Participate in school activities and extracurricular programs.
- Collaborate with faculty members and school leadership.
- Contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching methods within the school.
- Take part in the wider academic and community life of the school.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following fields, or a related discipline:
- Science.
- Biology.
- Chemistry.
- Physics.
- A recognized teaching qualification such as:
- PGCE.
- QTS.
- Or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience teaching Science within the British curriculum.
- Experience teaching at GCSE level.
- Strong subject knowledge.
- The ability to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.
