  • Oriental food chef
  • Western food chef

By joining this program, you will have the opportunity to work alone or under the supervision of a chef/ general and prepare and cook oriental food items, prepare western food items, cook and prepare western food for serving, as well as clean the kitchen and tools, work under the supervision of a general waiter, arrange the dining hall and securing service in it, and applying occupational and public health and safety procedures and instructions.

Eligibility criteria

You should follow the following criteria:

  • This program is available for the hospitality and tourism field.
  • Program Duration: (2100) training hours.
  • Training Program:
  • Joint training within training and production institutions.
  • The applicant must have completed the tenth grade and be 16 years old.

Training Program Outcomes:

By the end of this program, the trainee must be able to:

  • Determine the quantities of food, and identify the types.
  • Preparing oriental and western foods in hotels, restaurants, and party venues.
  • Preparing and preparing Western salads such as Russian or Greek salads.
  • Preparing some Western soups, such as onion soup or fish soup.
  • Preparing sauces for the foods he prepares.
  • Preparing foods after they are cooked, placing them in appropriate utensils, wrapping them, and serving them hot to customers.
  • Monitoring kitchen cleaning, polishing prepared utensils, arranging tables, and duly describing different utensils.
  • Deliver customers' orders to the kitchen, prepare food dishes from the kitchen, and fulfill customers' orders while eating.
  • Applying procedures and instructions of the Occupational Safety and Health.

The Vocational Training Corporation (VTC) was established pursuant to the temporary Law number (35) for the year 1976.
