22nd Triennale Grenchen 2021 Mini Print Competition and Win Cash Prize $1000

Triennale Grenchen is offering Mini Print Competition at 22nd Triennale Grenchen 2021. The Grenchen Triennial aims to present a comprehensive picture of current contemporary work from all over the world and to promote artistic activities in the field of xylographic printing. Artists who would like to present their work to a wide audience at the upcoming exhibition must register online to participate in the exhibition by the end of April 2021 acout “time without time”. 

Competition Conditions:

1. No participation fee is required.
2. Artists must register for participation on www.triennale.ch under xylo2021.
3. The registration must be submitted by the end of April 2021. 
4. After sending the registration you will receive an e-mail with your personal registration number and the invitation to submit the work as a letter and as a digital photo. 
5. By sending the registration, you accept the regulations of Triennale Grenchen.
6. The technique is limited to Xylography (cut) on any support in black and white prints.
7. Every artist can participate with a motif on the theme „Time without time“ with 4 copies for sale. 
8. An additional copy may be sent voluntarily as a donation for the collection of the Kunsthaus Grenchen Archive.
9. Technical restrictions for xylography:
   Paper size: 148 x 210 mm, portrait format, vertical (A5)
   Size of the image: 110 x 150 mm, portrait format, vertical
   Size of the edition: 4 or more
10. Every artist will be shown at the exhibition.
11. On the back of each work, your personal registration number, the name and surname of the artist, the title of the work and the selling price in CHF (Swiss francs) must be indicated.
12. The 4 copies must be sent in an envelope, without passepartout or frame as a letter. 
13. The letter must arrive at the address„Kunstgesellschaft Grenchen“ by 31 May 2021

14. You must include a declaration on the envelope: PRINTED MATERIAL, NO COMMERCIAL VALUE.
15. All work illustrations for the catalogue will be selected by a jury.
16. The costs of transporting the works to Grenchen/Switzerland will be borne by the artists. 
17. The organisers are not liable for any damage that may occur during the transport of the works.

Awards:

• Prize for interpretation the theme: CHF 1 000. $1000
• Prize for applied technology: CHF 700. $700
• Prize for innovation: CHF 700. $700
• Audience prize: CHF 600. $600

Dates:

• The 22nd Triennale Grenchen 2021 will open on 9th September 2021 in Grenchen.
• The deadline for submission of the registration and the digital photograph of the work ends on 30 April 2021.
• The deadline for submission of the works is 31 May 2021.
