<p>ATOS is offering a <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Competitions-and-Awards" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">competition</a> for students enrolled at university or in an engineering school to come up with an innovative use case and build a prototype which demonstrates &lsquo;How digital can decarbonize non-digital&rsquo;. The objective of this contest is to promote and encourage innovation in an open environment amongst best-in-class Universities and students and to support young innovators in taking their solution forward.</p><h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3><ul><li>The contest is open to students enrolled at university or in an engineering school during the academic year 2020-2021, from any grade.</li><li>The contest requires a good level of English both orally and in writing.</li><li>Each University or school will be able to present as many teams as they want, but each team will have to be composed by a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.</li><li>Participation in the contest shall be formalized by each team registering on line via the official contest website.</li></ul><h3>Awards:</h3><ul><li>1st Prize: &nbsp;&euro;10,000</li><li>2nd Prize: &nbsp;&euro;5,000</li><li>3rd Prize: &euro;3,000</li></ul><h3>Competition TimeLine:</h3><p>The Challenge is split into 6 main phases.</p><ul class="kh"><li>Idea Submission: 17 days Until Nov 29, 2020 / Come up with an innovative concept for an application based on Decarbonization</li><li>First Jury: Nov 30, 2020 - Dec 18, 2020 / First Jury made up of the Atos&rsquo; Scientific Community members selects the 15 best concepts</li><li>App Development: Dec 19, 2020 - Apr, 2021 /15 shortlisted teams work on their app development with the help of an Atos&rsquo; coach</li><li>App Delivery: Apr, 2021 - May, 2021 / App testing in Atos Competence Center.</li><li>Final Jury: May 26, 2021 - Jul 7, 2021 / The shortlisted teams pitched their ideas in front of a Final Jury who have now selected the 3 finalist teams</li><li>Awards Ceremony: Jul, 2021 / The 3 finalist teams are invited to join digital Awards Ceremony</li></ul><h3>Competition Topics:</h3><ul><li>Power generation and demand&nbsp;</li><li>Power use and efficiency&nbsp;</li><li>Industry</li><li>Agriculture and farming</li><li>Transport&nbsp;</li><li>The environment&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>About ATOS:</h3><p>ATOS is the first international student competition dedicated to technological innovation.
