ATOS is offering a competition for students enrolled at university or in an engineering school to come up with an innovative use case and build a prototype which demonstrates ‘How digital can decarbonize non-digital’. The objective of this contest is to promote and encourage innovation in an open environment amongst best-in-class Universities and students and to support young innovators in taking their solution forward.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The contest is open to students enrolled at university or in an engineering school during the academic year 2020-2021, from any grade.
- The contest requires a good level of English both orally and in writing.
- Each University or school will be able to present as many teams as they want, but each team will have to be composed by a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 members.
- Participation in the contest shall be formalized by each team registering on line via the official contest website.
Awards:
- 1st Prize: €10,000
- 2nd Prize: €5,000
- 3rd Prize: €3,000
Competition TimeLine:
The Challenge is split into 6 main phases.
- Idea Submission: 17 days Until Nov 29, 2020 / Come up with an innovative concept for an application based on Decarbonization
- First Jury: Nov 30, 2020 - Dec 18, 2020 / First Jury made up of the Atos’ Scientific Community members selects the 15 best concepts
- App Development: Dec 19, 2020 - Apr, 2021 /15 shortlisted teams work on their app development with the help of an Atos’ coach
- App Delivery: Apr, 2021 - May, 2021 / App testing in Atos Competence Center.
- Final Jury: May 26, 2021 - Jul 7, 2021 / The shortlisted teams pitched their ideas in front of a Final Jury who have now selected the 3 finalist teams
- Awards Ceremony: Jul, 2021 / The 3 finalist teams are invited to join digital Awards Ceremony
