<p>The Hawk&#39;s Well Theatre is calling all emerging poets from all around the world to participate in the The iYeats Poetry <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Competitions-and-Awards" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Competition&nbsp;</strong></a>2019. The competition is an annual online international poetry competition which has won a prestigious reputation for the calibre of both entrants and judges. The competition is open to all those 16 years of age and upwards.</p><h3><strong>Prize</strong></h3><ul><li>General category: First Prize &euro;500.</li><li>Emerging category: &euro;300 (aged 16 &ndash; 25 years).</li></ul><h3><strong>Rule</strong><strong>s</strong></h3><ol><li>Only online entries will be accepted.</li><li>Files with entries must be in Word format and attached to the online entry form. Word Limit of 40 lines</li><li>Multiple prizes may be awarded to the same person.</li><li>Poems must not have been published either in print or on a website, not be currently submitted or accepted for future publication. They must not previously have been awarded a prize in another competition.</li><li>The General category competition is open to all entrants.</li><li>The emerging poet category is confined to those aged between 16 and 25.</li><li>No correspondence will be entered into once work has been submitted.</li><li>Poems cannot be altered or changed after they have been entered.</li><li>Copyright remains with the authors, but the theatre reserves the right to publish the winning poems. Copyright reverts to the author after one year.</li><li>Payment must be made in Euros currency only. (&euro;5 per poem or &euro;12 for three).</li><li>Your entry in the competition means you accept these rules.</li></ol><h3><strong>About organization</strong></h3><p>The Hawk&#39;s Well is a 340 seat theatre in Sligo, North West Ireland.
