Opportunity description
The Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science together with Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences announced the Holland Scholarship for the 2020-2021 academic year. This scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in the Netherlands.
Scholarship Amount:
The scholarship amounts to € 5,000. The student will receive this in the first year of his studies. Applicant should note that this is not a full-tuition scholarship and this grant is awarded for one year and can only be received once.
Eligibility:
Applicant should meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The applicant nationality is non-EEA.
- The applicant is applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s program at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
- The applicant meets the specific requirements of the institution of his choice. The applicant can find these on the website of the institution.
- The applicant does not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.
