<p>Green Stories, sponsored by OrzoCoffee, offers <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Competitions-and-Awards" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">competition</a> about stories for children that in some way touch upon ideas around building a sustainable society. The competition is open for all genres, and the story doesn&rsquo;t have to be about sustainability or climate change directly &ndash; but stories must include green solutions.</p><h3>Children&rsquo;s Novel Guidelines<span dir="RTL">:</span></h3><ul><li>There will be two categories with corresponding suggested length: preschool/ illustrated books (2-6) max 1000 words; young readers category (7-11) max 2,500 words.</li><li>The format is double-spaced and numbered pages.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Prizes:</h3><p><strong>The total prize is &pound;400, It is distributed as follows:</strong></p><ul><li>&pound;200 for the best pre-school/illustrated book (aimed at age 2-6).</li><li>&pound;200 for the best novel in the young reader&rsquo;s category.</li></ul><h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3><ul><li>Open to all, as long as it has not been published elsewhere.&nbsp;</li><li>All submissions must be in English and conform to the green stories criteria of showing a positive vision of what a sustainable society might look like.</li></ul><h3>About Green Stories:</h3><p>Green Stories is a platform for writing stories on a green and sustainable society.
