Opportunity description
The University of Leeds is offering Three partial-fee scholarships to international masters students in the School of Sociology and Social Policy.
Value of Scholarship:
£7,000 in tuition fee awards.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the scholarship the applicant must:
- Hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a School of Sociology and Social Policy Taught Masters program for 2020 entry.
- Demonstrate an excellent previous academic track record.
- Demonstrate the potential to contribute to the academic and cultural life of the School of Sociology and Social Policy.
- Be classed as “international” for fee purposes.
Conditions:
- If the applicant's scholarship application is successful he must confirm acceptance within two weeks of notification of the award.
- The applicant must commence his study with the University of Leeds by registering no later than 1 October in the academic year for which the award is offered.
- Scholarship offers cannot be deferred.
Selection Criteria:
Decisions are based on academic merit and the quality of the applicant's scholarship supporting statement.
