Med-Limes "At the borders of the Mediterranean Sea" Short Film Festival

The Med-Limes "At the borders of the Mediterranean" Short Film Festival invites all creative filmmakers all over the world to participate with their films and compete within the festival.

About the Festival:-

• Med-Limes "At the borders of the Mediterranean", Images and stories from the borders of the Mediterranean is an International Short Film Festival that focuses on the hot topics of our time. The drama of immigration, the scarcity of water and food resources to meet the needs of millions of individuals, discrimination against other cultures are the themes and contents on which the film productions that are invited to participate in the event are based.

• The general objectives that the festival aims to pursue are:

  • Use the cinematographic medium to spread and make known the different cultures and identities that coexist in the Mediterranean area.

  • To raise awareness of minor film productions, works by emerging directors that have a great cultural value.

  • Focus on the themes of the 17 SDGs, the Sustainable Development Goals; disseminating the principles, tools and individual commitments that each citizen and signatory State can undertake to achieve them.

Conditions:-

Short films can participate in the review - preferably in Italian preview produced, preferably, in the following countries: Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Malta, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Akrotiri and Dhekelia (United Kingdom), Gibraltar (United Kingdom).

Prizes:-

• The official certificates to be awarded to the winning short films are:

  • “MED-LIMES, At the Borders of the Mediterranean - Official Jury Certificate for best short film 2021”.

  • “MED-LIMES, At the Borders of the Mediterranean - Youth Jury Certificate for best short film 2021”.

  • “MED-LIMES, At the Borders of the Mediterranean - Special Award Jury Certificate”.

  • “MED-LIMES, At the Borders of the Mediterranean - Mediterranean Award" Alfonso D'Antonio - Man of the Sea ".

  • “ MED-LIMES, At the Borders of the Mediterranean - People's Jury Award ”.

• The Official Jury will be in charge of assigning the "Official Jury" and "Special Prize" certificates. A" People's Jury Award "will be awarded by the participants in quality of public at the event.

• The certificates consist of Plaques and Diplomas.
