Photocrowd photography website, in association with ChinaBase Travel & Event, is inviting each and everyone interest in photography to take part in a new contest under the theme of "Moment".
THIS IS A MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY-ONLY CONTEST. All entries are required to be shot from a phone camera, and winners will be asked to provide EXiF data.
The annual CB Mobile Photo Contest “Moment” encourages people to capture fun, precious moments using their mobile phones. From only a few hundred entries in 2014 when it first launched, the festival is now on its seventh edition and this year we expect to receive thousands of submissions from across the world. The photo contest was initiated by CB Travel & Event, and helps raise funds for the Traveling Dream Program, another initiative started by the company.
Contest mechanism:
- Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
- Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
Prizes:
$1550 (USD) cash prizes to win, including $1200 for the panel's chosen winner:
- 1 winner selected by the jury: CNY 8400 / USD 1200 cash prize
- 1 winner voted for by the community: CNY 2450 / USD 350 cash prize
- Selected photos exhibited at Sino Art Space, Sep 19-Oct 31 2020
