The United Nations ,in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration - Bahrain, is offering an online volunteer opportunity for Saudi citizens in Translating Standard Operating Procedures for Shelters.
Background and Objectives:-
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) was established in 2018 and as it grows it aims to expand its work to support more migrants. This task is part of activities tailored for the project of Strengthening Mechanism to Combat Human Trafficking in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It includes drafting standard operating procedures for entities involved in the the protection and caring of migrants.
Requirements:-
Candidates must be native speakers of Arabic and fluent in English.
They should also be familiar with terms on human rights and trafficking in persons.
They should also have previous experience in translating official documents.
Translation of a paragraph will be requested as part of the selection process.
Candidates should be native in Arabic and fluent in English.
Tasks:-
IOM Bahrain is looking for one online volunteer to translate a 30-35 page standard operating procedures document for shelters from English to Arabic.
With the development of the SOPs, IOM Bahrain is hoping to contribute to the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to combat trafficking in persons (TIP) and caring for victims and potential victims of trafficking as well as vulnerable migrants.
