Online Volunteering Opportunity with the UN: Design & Layout of Publication and Communication Materials for the African Heritage Foundation Nigeria

The United Nations Volunteers program is offering an online volunteer opportunity with the African Heritage Foundation of Nigeria, a non-profit organization that advocates for African heritage, African culture, and traditions in Africa and the diaspora. The volunteer will work on designing publications at the African Textile Exhibition, which is a platform where all textile manufacturers in Africa and the diaspora gather to display various African fabrics, to promote the superiority of locally manufactured fabrics.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The position is relevant to all levels of educations with a high-level background in fundraising. 
• A qualification or experience in marketing, media, or business may also be helpful. However, development partners are our major target.

Main Tasks:

The volunteer will work in the Communications and Media Section, External Relations, Strategy, Knowledge, and Innovation Division of African Heritage Foundation Nigeria. The section provides communications, branding, and events management services to the organization and the focus project-African Textile Exhibition, Trade and Fashion. It is responsible for positioning the African Heritage Foundation Nigeria with a positive corporate image in public and media. You will be expected to provide design and layout support for publications and other communications materials including printed, digital and online exhibition, as well as animated graphics, and be ready to work with the teams of the Foundation.
