<p>Salto Youth is inviting young professional to participate in the International Baltic-Arabic <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Trainings-or-Workshops" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>seminar&nbsp;</strong></a>that will take place in Narva, Estonia from October 3 to October 5, 2019.</p><h3><strong>Objectives of the Activity</strong></h3><ul><li>To develop partnership between Baltic and Mediterranean countries in the field of the youth work.</li><li>To explore possibilities for cooperation and provide space for developing future project ideas.</li><li>To provide space for intercultural learning among participants in order to bring gained experience and attitude to the local communities and to the youth with whom work participating organisations.</li><li>To explore realities of young people and youth work in participating countries in order and be able to answer common challenges within future projects;</li><li>To contribute to address the needs of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.</li><li>Increase awareness about this issue within local communities by increasing sense of intercultural sensitivity and by follow-up activities and future projects, which participants will develop during the project.</li></ul><h3><strong>Funding</strong></h3><p>Participation costs will be covered by the Erasmus+ National Agency in your country. Accommodation, food and travel costs will be provided to successful applicants. Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organizer, for recognition of their competence.</p><h3><strong>Eligibility&nbsp;</strong></h3><p>The project targets the following groups:</p><ul><li>Youth workers either on a professional or voluntary basis who are working with young people on a daily basis or in projects;</li><li>Youth leaders and volunteers who works international mobilities such as international youth exchanges or working with youth on the local level;</li><li>Youth workers and project managers who work with local and international volunteers.</li></ul><h3><strong>What will you Learn</strong></h3><p>At the end of the seminar, the participants will:</p><ol><li>Be familiar with situation and the role of young people and youth work in Baltics and Mediterranean countries (Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Palestine):</li><li>Be familiar with opportunities and benefits from Baltic-Arabic cooperation;</li><li>Develop corporation and partnership relations with organisation from Baltics and Mediterranean countries;</li><li>Develop project ideas and concrete steps to corporations;</li><li>Learn about Baltic and Mediterranean countries cultures and increased sense of cultural sensitivity.</li></ol><h3><strong>About the Organization</strong></h3><p>SALTO-YOUTH is a network of six Resource Centers working on European priority areas within the youth field.
