Salford University in the UK is organizing an International Excellence Award program that will help high caliber international students financially if they want to earn an education at the university. The Salford International Excellence Scholarship supports a range of talented, inspiring, and creative international students who aim to be the leaders of the future.
Scholarship Value:
The value of the scholarship is between £1,000 and £5,000. The applications for this program are reserved for candidates who are from any part of the world and hold an offer to study in an undergraduate program.
Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Must have an offer to study an undergraduate (bachelor’s) program and have gained advanced entry, so will begin your studies in year two or three, rather than year one.
- Must be an international student.
- Must have professional experience gained through work, extra-curricular activities, or your own creative or entrepreneurial projects.
- Students must have a minimum level of literacy and numeracy, at least Grade C or 4 in both GCSE English and GCSE Mathematics or equivalent.
- For undergraduate courses, the university requires IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component or equivalent.
The applicant is particularly encouraged to apply if he is from a region where no specific scholarships are available, and his talents complement the university's International Collaboration Zone strategy, which brings the university and students together with industry to work on global challenges.
