<p>Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Western <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Australia" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Australia</strong></a> offers a number of merit-based <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>scholarships</strong></a> for international students from <strong>Algeria, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia</strong> <strong>and Yemen</strong> who want to pursue the University&#39;s <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>undergraduate program</strong></a> for the 2020-2021 academic year.</p><h3>Value:</h3><p>The scholarship covers 10% of the tuition fees for the duration of the course.</p><h3>Eligibility Criteria:</h3><p>To be eligible for this scholarship, the Applicant must:</p><ul><li>Be a citizen of one of the following countries: Algeria, Libya, Somalia, Syria, Tunisia or Yemen.</li><li>Not be New Zealand or Australian citizens or Australian Permanent Resident.</li><li>Study at ECU Joondalup, ECU Mount Lawley, or ECU South West (Bunbury) Campus.</li><li>Not be in receipt of a government scholarship or industry sponsorship.</li><li>Commence study in 2021.</li><li>Meet a high level of academic achievement in your previous studies (as determined by ECU).</li><li>Meet ECU&rsquo;s direct academic entry requirements for the course of your choice.</li><li>Study in one of the undergraduate programs available at ECU except the following:</li></ul><ul><li>Bachelor of Science (Nursing);</li><li>Bachelor of Science (Midwifery), and</li><li>Bachelor of Science (Paramedical).</li></ul><h3>Additional Terms and Conditions:</h3><ul><li>The scholarship recipient must be in continuous good standing academically and financially.</li><li>The scholarship recipient must maintain a full-time enrolment load of 60 credit points each semester, and not defer their studies for more than one semester during their course.</li><li>Course transfers are not permitted without ECU&rsquo;s permission.</li><li>The scholarship funds can only be used for tuition fees and cannot be used for any other expense.</li><li>The scholarship cannot be transferred to an ECU campus or partner outside Western Australia, or to another university.</li><li>The scholarship can be revoked if the recipient does not accept their Letter of Offer or enroll in their course by the date specified.</li><li>The scholarship recipient must pay their tuition fees within the stipulated payment deadlines, failure to do so will negate the scholarship.</li><li>The scholarship recipient must comply with any applicable student visa requirements.</li><li>The scholarship will be revoked at any stage if a student is found to have provided information that is misleading, does not meet the scholarship eligibility criteria, or does not comply with the ongoing conditions of the scholarship.</li></ul><p><strong>See more <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Canada">opportunities in Canada</a> available on For9a</strong></p><p><strong>See more available <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor">bachelor scholarships</a> on For9a</strong></p>
