Poetry Contest with $1,000 CAD Award from Wax Poetry 2020

Wax International Poetry Contest is now available for poets all over the world. This contest is an international poetry event. Dozens of free preliminary contests ensure that poetry champions from around the world are represented in the main contest. This competition is not free and you need to buy tickets to participate.

Eligibility and Conditions:-

• Each poem must be original, unpublished, titled, maximum 35 lines and not simultaneously submitted elsewhere until the winner is announced.
• Submissions must be primarily in English. Use of indigenous languages in the poem is acceptable, as long as English translations are provided.
• The poem shouldn’t quote any text created by another person.
• If you are a preliminary contest winner, do not submit your preliminary contest-winning poem, as that will result in an automatic disqualification.
• If you are submitting more than one poem to this contest, you must submit each poem individually, with a separate submission for each poem.
• You must also show proof that you possess the Poetry Champions Cup Ticket(s) required to enter your poetry into the contest.
• Poets without a previous Wax Poetry and Art contest win can enter the Poetry Champions Cup by purchasing Challenger's Tickets for $20 CAD each, up to three. You can order your ticket from

Prizes:-

• The winning poet wins the Grand Prize of $1,000 CAD plus a writing journal, pen, commemorative gift, and additional royalties (if accrued).
• The winning poet also wins one Poetry World Cup Ticket to enter the Wax Poetry and Art Poetry World Cup.
