Teach A Man to Fish Foundation invites primary, secondary and vocational schools all over the world to participate in the School Enterprise 2020 competition. The School Enterprise Challenge is a FREE educational programme that teaches business and life skills. It supports teachers and students to set up a REAL business at their school.

Participation Conditions:

  • The competition is open to all schools from all countries.
  • The School Enterprise Challenge is open to primary schools, secondary schools and technical/vocational colleges. 
  • It is not open to universities.

Competition Stages:

Once registered, you will have access to all of our educational materials and your own online account to upload your submissions.

A teacher at your school will be responsible for facilitating participation in the School Enterprise Challenge and guiding your students to complete the 3 steps:

  • Coming up with a business idea.
  • Writing a business plan.
  • Launching the school business, making sales and writing an annual report.

Inspired by Fundación Paraguaya's San Francisco school, Nik Kafka began the charity to enable teacher and student teams to set up and benefit from a school business. The model used is designed for schools all over the world, at any level, within any educational framework and in any economic setting. Teach A Man to Fish is guided by a simple, all-encompassing mission: to empower young people with the skills they need to succeed, in school, work, and life.
