The study duration: three years full-time.

Tasks of The First Candidate in The Project:

The first candidate should have a strong interest and experience in microbiology, biochemistry or enzyme development as his work will be to generate, engineer and optimize microbial or enzymatic biological systems.

Tasks of The Second Candidate in The Project:

The work of the second candidate will involve techno-economic assessments, engineering design, testing and validation at pilot scale or in industrial settings.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must be:

  1. have first-class honors (H1), a masters degree or equivalent degree from a recognized institution in a relevant discipline (such as process engineering, chemical engineering, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry or biotechnology).
  2. fulfill our Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) admission criteria, including English language requirements.

Note: see the following guide to make sure your qualifications are equivalent to the first honor.
