<p>McGill&#39;s <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Scholarships&nbsp;</strong></a>and Student Aid Office offers <strong>merit-based entrance scholarships</strong> to first-time university students entering a full-time <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>undergraduate&nbsp;</strong></a>degree program to study in McGill University in <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/country/Canada" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Canada</strong></a>.&nbsp;</p><h3>Award:</h3><p>There are two types of scholarships:</p><ul><li><strong>One-year Scholarships</strong>, valued at $3,000 (non-renewable)</li><li><strong>Major Scholarships</strong>, valued between $3,000 and $12,000 (renewable annually up to 3 or 4 years provided criteria for renewal are met)</li></ul><h3>Eligibility:</h3><ul><li><strong>One-year entrance scholarships</strong></li></ul><ol><li>No separate scholarship application is required.&nbsp;</li><li>All first-time university students entering a full-time undergraduate degree program are automatically considered for a one-year scholarship</li></ol><ul><li><strong>Faculty-specific Entrance Scholarships</strong></li></ul><ol><li>Certain faculties at McGill offer their own faculty-specific entrance scholarships.&nbsp;</li><li>These faculties include Music, Dentistry, Law and Medicine.&nbsp;</li><li>These scholarships are not transferable should you change faculties.</li></ol><h3>Field of study:</h3><ul><li>Agricultural&nbsp;</li><li>Environmental Sciences<a href="https://mcgill.ca/applying/"></a><a href="https://mcgill.ca/applying/"></a></li><li>Architecture</li><li>Arts</li><li>Education</li><li>Engineering</li><li>Nutrition</li><li>Management</li><li>Music</li><li>Nursing</li><li>Religious Studies</li><li>Sciences</li><li>Social Work</li></ul><h3>Required documents:</h3><ul><li><strong>Academic documents:</strong><ol><li>Copy of high school transcript, including mid-year/final 1st semester results for final year</li><li>Copy of GCSE/IGCSE/O-Level/CSEC or MYP exams, if written</li><li>Predicted IB results</li><li>If IB Diploma is completed, a copy of the final results is required in lieu of the above.</li></ol></li><li><strong>Proof of English Proficiency</strong></li></ul><ol><li>Applicants who have lived and attended school, for at least four years, in a country where English is the acknowledged primary language, are not required to provide further proof of English proficiency.</li><li>If this is not the case, official test results will be required by the supporting document deadline. &nbsp;</li></ol><ul><li><strong>Additional supporting documents&nbsp;</strong>(such as recommendation letters and personal statements)&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>About McGill University:</h3><p>McGill University is one of Canada&#39;s best-known institutions of higher learning and one of the leading universities in the world.
