<p>The Australian National University (ANU) has announced the Sir Geoffrey Yeend Scholarship for honors. This <a href="https://www.for9a.com/en/opportunity/category/Scholarships/Bachelor" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>scholarship</strong></a> is offered by the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific and the College of Arts and Social Sciences once a year. This scholarship was established in 1996 to encourage the University&#39;s best undergraduate students to undertake an Honours year.</p><h3><strong>Field of Study:</strong></h3><p>The student will study one of these areas with full time for one year:</p><ul><li>Political Science</li><li>Visual and Performing Arts&nbsp;</li><li>Asian Studies</li></ul><h3><strong>Eligibility Criteria:</strong></h3><ol><li>You should be intending to enroll full-time at this University in the Honours Year of a program of study leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor with Honours.</li><li>You are in the final year of a program of study leading to the award of the degree of Bachelor with Honours.</li><li>You must contact the relevant Honours Convenor for your discipline in your College.</li><li>You need to establish that you have (or will have) the academic qualifications for entry into Honours.</li><li>You can apply before you obtain the results of the bachelor&#39;s degree and complete all qualifications but if not completed in the future the application will be ignored.</li><li>With the approval of the relevant College, you may commence the Honours Program in either the first or second semester of the academic year.</li><li>International students are eligible to apply for this scholarship.</li></ol><h3><strong>About the Australian National University (ANU):</strong></h3><p>ANU is a world-leading university in Canberra, Australia, with a unique history and good Australian Government relationships, focused on excellence in research and education.</p><p>Students who graduate from this university have high qualifications, well-prepared to address complex contemporary challenges.
