The Sada Award announced the opening of the third season of the Sada creative award. This award is open to university and school students, to produce valuable works of art and with meaningful messages, as it aims to motivate them and help to develop their spirit of creativity. 

About The Award: 

Sada Award is a creative artistic award for building peace, emphasizing the principles of coexistence, acceptance of the other, and rejection of extremist ideology through a short film competition, articles, drawings, caricature and photos, available to all university and school students to express the themes of peace, coexistence, humanity and social inclusion of people with undervalued rights and other elements that will spread humanity and peace in societies. The aim of the competition is to influence the mentality of children and young people, motivate them, guide them and engage them towards moderate and open thinking through the development of their creativity, art, and culture.

Award Categories: 

The award will be awarded in the following creative categories:

  • Short films
  • Creative articles and texts
  • Free drawing
  • Caricature
  • Memes
  • Photography

Contest Topics: 

A participant may choose one or more of the following topics:

  • Peace and humanity
  • The rejection of extremist thought
  • Acceptance of the other
  • Racism
  • Encouragement and support to the refugees
  • Social integration
  • Tolerance and coexistence
  • Moderation and incorruptibility
  • Violence and bullying
  • Addiction

Participation Criteria:

To participate in the contest, the following conditions must be met:

  • The participant or participants are enrolled in a school, college, institute, or university.
  • Applicants may participate individually or in a group.
  • Short films must not exceed 5 minutes for participants in the short film category.

Evaluation And Selection Criteria: 

The jury evaluation will be based on the following criteria:

  • Idea: the submitted work should be unique and innovative, and should leave an impact on the reader or viewer.
  • Creativity: The submitted work should have creative content with a valuable and meaningful message.
  • Method: The submitted work should use methods that raise the attention of children and youth in society.
  • The general impression: The submitted work should have interaction on social networks.

Prizes: 

Finalists get:

  • Certificates of honor at the closing ceremony.
  • Present their works in an art exhibition and at a closing ceremony.
  • Interviews on various radio stations and TV channels.
  • Prizes for each category (short films, creative articles, and texts, free drawing, photography, caricature, memes).
