The Tactical Urbanism NOW 2026 Competition is an international contest in the field of architecture and urban design that invites architects, designers, and students from around the world to submit innovative ideas for improving public spaces in cities using creative, low-cost, and quickly implementable solutions. The competition aims to enhance the quality of urban life and encourage initiatives that revitalize public spaces and promote community interaction.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Submit an architectural project or design that demonstrates creativity and sustainability.
- Meet all the requirements and criteria set by the jury panel.
Benefits
- Cash prizes of up to $8,000.
First Place: $5,000.
Second Place: $2,000.
Third Place: $1,000.
Publication of the best projects and winners on the organization’s platforms.

Eligibility criteria
- Participants or teams must be specialized in architecture or design.
The design must be original and must not have been previously presented or developed.
Participation is allowed individually or as part of a team.
The competition is open to all nationalities worldwide.
Participation Fees (depending on the registration period):

Regular Registration: €89 (until 25 September 2026).
Late Registration: €129 (until 30 October 2026).
