The competition aims to transform environmental challenges into compelling visual narratives that raise climate awareness and inspire communities to embrace innovative solutions for a more sustainable future.

The 2026 edition focuses on the theme:

“Accelerating the Transition through Purposeful Innovation”

Participants are encouraged to create artworks addressing topics such as:

• Climate change
• Environmental sustainability
• Biodiversity
• Climate innovation
• Future environmental solutions

Illustration Category

• First Prize: €2,000
• First Runner-Up: €1,500
• Second Runner-Up: €1,000
• 20 Merit Awards worth €150 each.

Animated Video Category

• First Prize: €2,000
• First Runner-Up: €1,500
• Second Runner-Up: €1,000
• 20 Merit Awards worth €150 each.

• Open to participants of all nationalities.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• Both professional and amateur artists are eligible to participate.
• Submitted works must be original and unpublished.
• Each participant may submit up to three entries per category.

Participation Requirements

• Entries must be related to climate change, sustainability, or environmental themes.
• A description of the artwork between 30 and 100 words must accompany each submission.
• The artist’s name or any identifying marks must not appear within the artwork.
• Animated video submissions must be between 10 and 15 seconds in length.
