Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University in Turkey, through the Department of Graphic Arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, is organizing the seventh edition of the Bolu International Poster Design Competition – BIAH 2026.
This year’s competition theme is:
Beyond Horizons: Designing a Sustainable Future
The competition aims to encourage designers to use graphic design and visual communication to present innovative ideas related to sustainability, global responsibility, and future challenges.

The competition is open to students, professional designers, academics, and others.
There are no announced nationality restrictions.
There is no limit to the number of designs a participant may submit.
The design must be related to the competition theme.
Posters must be submitted in A3 vertical format.
The required resolution is 300 dpi.
The color mode must be RGB.
Files must be submitted in JPEG or JPG format.
Any text included in the design must be in English, or in English together with the participant’s native language.
Eligibility criteria
Applications must be submitted online through the official competition form by following these steps:
Prepare a poster based on the Beyond Horizons theme.
Select one of the five Sustainable Development Goals associated with the competition.
Create the design in A3 vertical format, 300 dpi, RGB.
Save the design in JPEG/JPG format with a maximum file size of 15 MB.
Name the file according to the competition’s required format:
Name_Surname_Country_Poster TitleComplete the personal information fields, including your name, email address, country, and professional or academic status.
Upload the poster through the application form.
Disclose any use of artificial intelligence tools, if applicable, and specify the percentage and manner in which they were used.
Agree to the participation terms and submit the application online.
