Black and White Portraits Photo Contest offered by Photocrowd

Photocrowd is launching a photo contest, on the theme of "Black and white portraits", as each and everyone interested in creative photography is invited to take part in this contest.

This contest offers a tantalisingly broad remit for the photographic portraitist. The only requirements are that the image is in black and white, and is a portrait study of a human subject. And some subtle colour toning is allowed, this being a traditional darkroom technique that often accompanied the art of producing black and white prints.

This contest is expert judged only with no rating by the crowd. You will be able to find out how you did when the judging or rating period has closed.
