Opportunity description
The German Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen – ifa) offers professionals and volunteers working in Libyan civil society organizations the opportunity to participate in the CCP Fellowship 2027 for Libya, part of the CrossCulture Programme. The fellowship aims to strengthen international cooperation, promote knowledge exchange, and develop participants' professional skills.
The fellowship provides selected participants with the opportunity to spend two to three months in Germany or one of the partner countries, working with host organizations to gain new practical experience and explore different professional approaches and practices. Participants will also take part in training workshops, cultural activities, and meetings with experts and international organizations.
Each year, the program welcomes 50 to 60 participants from more than 40 countries. It seeks to build an international network of professionals and civil society activists, encouraging them to apply the knowledge and skills they acquire to develop their organizations and make a positive impact within their communities.
The 2027 fellowships are scheduled to take place in person, with digital participation potentially available in certain cases, depending on individual circumstances and travel restrictions.
