Florida Surf Film Festival invites all creative filmmakers all over the world to participate with their films and compete within the festival. Both features and shorts are separately eligible for these awards.
About the Festival:-
- Florida Surf Film Festival, located at Atlantic Center for the Arts, in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, typically runs four events per calendar year in February, June, August, and a very special two-night event in November. The festival announces awards for films entered for competition in the various documentary categories at the November event.
- The festival typically shows films in the blackbox theater, which seats 300, and if weather cooperates in November and February, the amphitheater outdoors, which seats 300, plus another 200 standing.

- Under 30 minutes with surfing as a focus of the work, but not necessarily a major part of the story.
