Competition for Entrepreneurs & Startups and the Chance to Win Many Valuable Prizes

The Startup Competition 2021-2022 opens the participation opportunity in a competition; Empowering Today. Transforming Tomorrow”. It aims to enable entrepreneurs and promote an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world. You will have the chance to gather with over 100 entrepreneurs through a seven-month thrilling journey, filled with exciting activities.

Competition Tracks:

• Ideas.
• Startups.
• Social Entrepreneurship. 

If you are among the winners, you will have the opportunity to:

• Grant equity-free prize money, hence the MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab & Saudi Arabia do not have any ownership entitlements to the startup.
• MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab & Saudi Arabia will cover the travel expenses for up to 2 members per semi-finalist team which include:
• Flight tickets.
• Accommodation.
• Transportation from/to the bootcamp venue (if needed).
• Top-tier training.
• Mentorship.
• Media exposure.

Please note: MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab & Saudi Arabia do not guarantee to help with the Visas.

You must follow the following criteria:

• For Startups Track and Social Entrepreneurship Track:
• At least two members.
• Working product/service, traction, and sales.
• Generating revenues.
• Have not raised funding above 1,500,000 USD.
• Legally registered/operating in an Arab country.
• Should be in Tech or Digital industry.
• For Ideas Track:
• At least two members.
• Proof of concept & prototype.
• Validated business model & clear plan to grow.
• Has a mentor/industry Expert.
• Should be in Tech or Digital industry.
• Each team/entrepreneur is only allowed one entry.
• Selected semifinalist teams will participate in a total of 6-days event in Medinah, Saudi Arabia. Starting with a 3-days bootcamp designed by MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab & Saudi Arabia.
• The finalist teams are required to pitch (in private) in front of the final round jury panel, where they will have 3 minutes to present/pitch, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A.
• The oral presentations should be delivered in English.
• The jury will deliberate and select the 3 winners.

The Startup Competition 2021-2022 is the merge between MIT Enterprise Arab Startup Competition and MIT Enterprise Saudi Startup competition; The competition aims to enable entrepreneurs and promote an ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in Saudi Arabia and the Arab world.
