Opportunity description

Amideast has announced the opening of applications for the FLEX Global 2027–2028 Cultural Exchange Program, offering high school students from Jordan, Morocco, Tunisia, and Bahrain the opportunity to spend a full academic year in the United States through a fully funded program sponsored by the US Department of State.

Participants live with American host families, attend local high schools, and take part in various educational, cultural, and community activities designed to develop their leadership skills and promote cross-cultural understanding.

FLEX Global Exchange Program Details

The program lasts for a full academic year in the United States, during which students attend American high schools and live with host families. This provides them with an opportunity to experience American culture and gain valuable educational and life experiences.

Participants also engage in community service and volunteer activities that help them develop leadership, communication, and independence skills, alongside enrichment activities focusing on business, technology, and entrepreneurship.

Upon completing the academic year, participants return to their home countries equipped with new skills, knowledge, and cultural experiences, which they are encouraged to use to contribute to their local communities.

The program is sponsored by the US Department of State and funded by the US government, while Amideast is responsible for recruiting applicants and managing the application and selection processes in participating Arab countries.
