Aalborg University offers a limited number of Danish Government Scholarships to outstanding international students wishing to pursue a master’s degree in Denmark.
The scholarship is intended for applicants from countries outside the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA). Recipients are selected based on their academic qualifications and the university’s strategic priorities.
No separate scholarship application is required. Aalborg University automatically considers all eligible non-EU/EEA applicants who apply for an eligible master’s programme beginning in September.

- Apply for an eligible master’s programme at Aalborg University.

- Satisfy the English-language requirements of the chosen programme.
- Comply with all application requirements, documentation guidelines, and deadlines.
- Be eligible to obtain a study and residence permit in Denmark.
