Opportunity description

The International Writers' Workshop (IWW) at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) has opened applications for its 2027 Literary Residency Program, a fully funded residency that brings together writers from around the world for a four-week stay on the university campus.

The program offers writers dedicated time to focus on their creative work while engaging with fellow authors, scholars, and students through a range of literary and cultural activities. The residency concludes with the IWW Literary Festival 2027, themed "Inheritance", where participants are encouraged—but not required—to present work related to this theme. The program provides an international environment that promotes creative exchange, literary dialogue, and cross-cultural collaboration.
