Opportunity description

Erasmus+ is offering the EACEA Scholarship for international students all over the world. The Joint Master Degree in Mechatronic Engineering, EU4M, welcomes all prospective students interested in becoming professionally qualified to work in the field of Mechatronics and Micro-mechatronics.

About the Programme:-

  • The EU4M Consortium consists of five Programme Partners located in five different countries: Universidad de Oviedo (Spain), Hochschule Karlsruhe – Technik und Wirtschaft (Germany), École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et des Microtechniques (France), Nile University (Egypt) and Ivanovo State Power Engineering University (Russian Federation).
  • The EU4M Joint Master Degree is a 120-ECTS, 4-semester integrated Master programme designed to be taken in two consecutive academic years.
  • Three of the degree awarding institutions (UNIOVI, HSKA and NU) will be offering the same academic contents in three different languages (Spanish, German and English) to give the students the same preparation and different language options. It must be noted that, although the courses taught in each of these three institutions may differ, the final competencies acquired will be the same and can be related to the modules and courses defined in the EU4M Programme.
  • In their second year, students will move to one or two of the other partner or associated institutions, in order to complete the required mobility periods: at least two 30-ECTS periods in two different programme countries.
  • The five degree awarding institutions are offering a different specialization track. Additionally, further specialization can be obtained through internships and the final project resulting in the Master’s Thesis. Internship and Master’s Thesis could be carried out either in a partner or at an associated institution. This provides further possibilities to the students to adapt to their ideal specialization.

About Erasmus+:-

Erasmus+ is the European Commission's Programme for education, training, youth and sport, succeeding the previous Lifelong Learning Programme (2007–2014). As an integrated programme, Erasmus+ offers more opportunities for mobility of learners and staff and cooperation across the education, training and youth sectors and is easier to access than its predecessors, with simplified funding rules and a structure that aims to streamline the administration of the programme. The Programme is open to students, apprentices, teachers, lecturers, young people, volunteers, youth workers and people working in grassroots' sport. Approximately two-thirds of the budget is allocated to learning opportunities abroad for individuals, within the EU and beyond; the remainder will support partnerships between educational institutions, youth organizations, businesses, local and regional authorities and NGOs, as well as reforms to modernise education, training and youth systems.
