The Humboldt Research Fellowship is a fully funded program offered by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation for postdoctoral researchers and experienced scholars from around the world to conduct independent research at prestigious German universities. The fellowship provides the opportunity to develop innovative research projects, expand international scientific collaboration networks, and engage in an advanced academic environment in Germany.
Benefits

Eligibility criteria
- Open to all nationalities except German, and applicants must not have lived in Germany for more than 90 days within the 18 months prior to application
- Academic qualification: PhD with a strong record of research publications
- Experience:
- Postdoctoral researchers: obtained PhD within the last 4 years
- Experienced researchers: obtained PhD within the last 12 years with a leadership role in research
- Must have a supervisor or host institution in Germany confirming the feasibility of the research, and submit a complete research proposal, CV, publication list, and recommendation letters
