Bilim Eğitim Kültür Araştırmaları Merkezi Derneği is inviting applications for a fully funded individual volunteering opportunity under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) through the Youth Bridge project. The project will take place in Gaziantep, Türkiye, offering young people the opportunity to gain international volunteering experience while contributing to meaningful community initiatives.
This is one of the most comprehensive fully funded volunteering opportunities in Türkiye, combining education, humanitarian action, media production, culture, sports, and environmental protection. Volunteers will support local students, create digital content, work in professional television and radio studios, participate in humanitarian aid distribution, assist refugees and earthquake-affected communities, and contribute to environmental, artistic, and sports activities.
The project also enables participants to immerse themselves in Turkish culture, develop valuable personal and professional skills, and collaborate with a multicultural team in an international environment. The programme provides comprehensive financial support, including accommodation, meals, travel, health insurance, visa costs, and residence permit fees.

Duties & responsibilities
The volunteer’s responsibilities may include:
- Communicating with local students and sharing knowledge, experiences, and perspectives with them.
- Supporting educational and training activities for children and young people.
- Encouraging and motivating students to learn, participate, and engage in activities.
- Preparing digital and educational content for projects and activities.
- Participating in photography and video production.
- Editing videos and producing visual materials for the organization.
- Contributing to digital storytelling and documenting project activities.
- Working in the organization’s professional television studio.
- Assisting with the preparation and production of television programmes and media content.
- Using radio equipment and gaining practical experience in audio recording and production.
- Participating in the distribution of humanitarian assistance to vulnerable groups.
- Supporting activities for refugees and communities affected by earthquakes.
- Contributing to psychosocial support activities under the supervision of qualified staff.
- Participating in tree-planting activities and caring for planted trees.
- Supporting the maintenance of green spaces and environmental protection initiatives.
- Taking part in sports, arts, and cultural activities.
- Assisting with the coordination of projects and community events.
- Collaborating with other volunteers and local staff in carrying out daily tasks.
- Respecting the cultures, backgrounds, and identities of all participants and beneficiaries.
