SPOLOCENSTVO EVANJELICKEJ MLADEZE is offering one of the notable international volunteering opportunities in Europe through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) under the Grow and Give II project in Slovakia. The project gives young people from several countries around the world the opportunity to take part in a long-term international volunteering experience in a multicultural youth-focused environment.
The project aims to empower young people, strengthen community participation, and promote intercultural exchange by involving international volunteers in organizing and leading a variety of activities, including youth clubs, camps, weekend events, workshops, international days, and festivals.
Project activities take place across several regional centers in Slovakia, including Púchov, Dolný Kubín, and Veľký Slavkov. Volunteers will work alongside local and international team members and will have the opportunity to develop their own ideas and turn them into real youth and community initiatives and activities, while gaining international experience and strengthening their leadership, teamwork, and intercultural communication skills.

- In Púchov, an apartment is provided for volunteers.

Duties & responsibilities
Activities that volunteers may participate in include:
- Organizing and leading youth clubs and activities.
- Assisting with the organization of summer camps.
- Participating in weekend events.
- Preparing and delivering workshops.
- Organizing international days and events.
- Contributing to the organization of festivals.
- Working directly with young people and children.
- Developing and implementing their own ideas and initiatives.
- Participating in community-based activities.
- Contributing to graphic design and multimedia content.
- Collaborating with other volunteers and staff members.
- Developing skills in public speaking, leadership, teamwork, and time management.
Eligibility criteria
The project is looking for a volunteer who is:

- Interested in learning the Slovak language.
- Ready to work as part of a team.
