Opportunity description

The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center is offering a Residency program for academics, artists, policymakers and practitioners who aim to do focused, goal-oriented work and to get the opportunity to establish new connections with residents from a wide variety of backgrounds. The Foundation’s Bellagio Residency Program has a track record for supporting the production of important ideas and knowledge addressing some of the most complex challenges facing our world, and innovative works of art that enhance our understanding of pressing global and social issues and encourage positive action.

Residency project themes:

  1. Gender Equality.
  2. Governance and Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence.
  3. Building Green Economies.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Up to four weeks at The Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Center in Bellagio Italy, Lake Como.
  2. Room and board with a private studio for working.
  3. A shared community of up to 15 scholars, artists or practitioners coming from all over the world.
  4. Residents can bring a partner/significant other to join the residency for all or a portion of their stay.
  5. Travel funding is available when there is financial need.
  6. Future participation in an international network of Bellagio leaders, united in the shared purpose of creating a better world.
