The University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney) in Australia is accepting applications for the International Scientia Coursework Scholarship 2027, which is available to international students who wish to begin an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program at the University in Term 1 of 2027.
The scholarship is awarded to academically outstanding students who also demonstrate leadership potential and active participation in academic or community activities. It provides recipients with the opportunity to study at one of Australia’s leading universities across a wide range of disciplines.
Benefits
The International Scientia Coursework Scholarship at UNSW offers one of two funding options:
- Full tuition fee coverage for the standard duration of the program.
- Or AUD 20,000 per year, paid directly toward tuition fees for the standard duration of the program.
The scholarship also provides:
- The opportunity to study full-time at one of Australia’s leading universities.
- Funding for eligible undergraduate or postgraduate coursework programs.
- Financial support for the standard duration of the degree program, rather than for only one year.
- The opportunity to also be considered for other international scholarships and awards offered by UNSW during the same application cycle.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must:
- Be an international student.
- Meet the academic requirements of the chosen program.
- Submit the required academic qualifications and transcripts.
- Meet the English language proficiency requirements.
- Apply before the deadline for the relevant application round.
- Meet any additional requirements set by the program or faculty.
