WTV – Der Offene Kanal aus Wettin e.V. is offering a long-term international volunteering opportunity in Germany through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC), open to participants from a number of countries outside the European Union.
The opportunity takes place in Wettin-Löbejün near Halle (Saale) and gives volunteers the chance to gain hands-on experience in film and television production, filming, video editing, conducting interviews, producing reports and documentaries, and media education activities with children and young people.

Duties & responsibilities
Volunteers may participate in:

- Producing independent media content as part of the channel’s projects.
- Participating in the production of:

- Working with children, young people, and adults in:
- Schools.
- Youth clubs.
- Care centers.
- Social institutions.
- Participating in creative and cultural projects related to media and video production.
Eligibility criteria
The organization is looking for applicants who:
- Are between 17 and 30 years old, according to the conditions stated in the announcement.
- Have a very strong motivation to work in film and television production.
- Are interested in learning filming, video editing, and media production.
- Are interested in participating in media education projects.
- Are willing to work with children, young people, and adults.
