Opportunity description

Drömstort Förening in Sweden is accepting applications for two volunteers through the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme to serve as Youth Center Leaders at its youth center in Rågsved, Stockholm.

The organization works to provide young people in Stockholm with safe and supportive spaces and opportunities through its youth center, mentoring programmes, educational support, community activities, and social projects.

Volunteers will participate in the day-to-day work of the youth center, organize activities and events, support young people’s ideas and initiatives, and take part in social and community projects. They will also contribute to communications, social media, photography, video production, and digital content creation.

Duties & responsibilities

Key volunteer responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the daily operations of the youth center.
  • Contributing to a safe and inclusive environment for young people.
  • Planning, organizing, and leading activities and events.
  • Encouraging young people to develop and implement their own ideas and initiatives.
  • Participating in social projects and community events.
  • Collaborating with the organization’s staff and other volunteers.
  • Taking part in team meetings, training sessions, and project evaluations.
  • Contributing to communication and media activities.
  • Taking photos and recording videos.
  • Creating digital content for social media platforms.

Eligibility criteria

Applicants must:
