The Oyuncak Kütüphanesi Derneği – Toy Library Association is offering a long-term volunteering opportunity at a multicultural kindergarten in Ankara, where the volunteer will support educational and developmental activities for young children.
The volunteer will primarily work as a teaching assistant in early childhood education and child development, helping design and deliver educational, artistic, and creative activities that enable children to learn through play, arts, and drama.
The project also includes supporting initiatives for disadvantaged children, participating in donation and volunteering activities, and organizing English-language workshops through art and creative drama.

Duties & responsibilities
- Work as a teaching assistant at the organization’s kindergarten.
- Support educational activities for children aged 3 to 5 years.
- Participate in volunteering and donation activities aimed at disadvantaged children.
- Organize English-language workshops using arts and creative drama.
- Prepare age-appropriate activities for children in early childhood.
- Take part in crafts, arts, and educational games.
- Collaborate with the organization’s team, young people, and other volunteers.
Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 25 years old.
- Have knowledge of or an interest in alternative education or early childhood education.
- Be interested in working with children and supporting their development.
- Have a creative interest in arts and crafts.
- Be able to prepare age-appropriate activities for young children.
- Demonstrate motivation, responsibility, and leadership ability.
- Be able to collaborate with young people and work effectively as part of a team.
- Be willing to experience a new culture and adapt to life in Turkey.
- Be prepared to work with children from diverse backgrounds and circumstances, including disadvantaged children.
