Opportunity description
SISTEM VE JENERASYON DERNEGI – System & Generation (S&G) is accepting applications for a long-term international volunteering opportunity in Ankara, Türkiye, under the VOLUNTEERING WITH S&G 2026 LT project.
The volunteering experience lasts 271 days, including travel days, and gives participants the opportunity to gain practical experience in a variety of areas, including NGO management, project development, event organization, digital communication, social media, and community work.
The volunteer’s role will not be limited to office-based tasks. Participants will also take part in community initiatives targeting children, refugees, and persons with disabilities, as well as activities in kindergartens, schools, and environmental protection projects. This makes the opportunity especially suitable for young people interested in community engagement, intercultural exchange, and sustainable development.
Benefits
Volunteers will receive:
- Accommodation arrangements provided through the organization.
- A food allowance of EUR 6 per day.
- Pocket money of EUR 6 per day.
- A total of EUR 12 per day in food allowance and pocket money.
- Travel cost coverage within the applicable financial limits, according to the Erasmus Distance Calculator and programme rules.

Duties & responsibilities
Activities and responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the organization’s daily office operations.
- Contributing to project management and development.
- Participating in the organization of events and activities.
- Managing and supporting social media accounts.
- Contributing to digital content creation.
- Participating in the preparation of the Youth Magazine.
- Taking part in Conversation Clubs.
- Contributing to local language and culture projects.
- Organizing intercultural exchange activities.
- Working in initiatives and centers that support refugees.
- Participating in activities with persons with disabilities.
- Working with children in kindergartens and schools.
- Participating in environmental activities and projects.
- Introducing the volunteer’s culture and home country.
- Contributing to the promotion of solidarity, diversity, and social inclusion.
- Supporting initiatives related to the EU Youth Goals.
