Asociación Semillistas is offering one of the funded international volunteering opportunities under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) through the Reforestation in Granada Mountains & Healthy Living project in Órgiva and the Sierra Lújar mountains, near Granada, Spain.

The project aims to contribute to the reforestation of mountain areas and the restoration of vegetation using direct seed-sowing techniques, while also promoting environmental sustainability, healthy lifestyles, and community engagement.

Volunteers will participate in seed collection and sowing, preparation of reforestation sites, and workshops on sustainable agriculture and environmental protection. The program also includes yoga, wellness activities, and teamwork with participants from different cultural backgrounds.

  • Be willing to participate in group activities and live as part of a volunteer community.

  • Be flexible in adapting to changes in work plans due to weather conditions.

  • Be willing to take responsibility, show initiative, and organize personal tasks.

  • Be able to communicate and collaborate with other volunteers, supervisors, and the local community.

  • Commit to participating in all project activities, training sessions, and meetings throughout the program.
