Opportunity description

GENCSEN KULUBU DERNEGI has opened applications for the OUR FUTURE IS NOW 5! project under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) programme. This is a funded individual volunteering opportunity taking place in Ankara, Türkiye, from November 1 to December 30, 2026.

The project brings together young volunteers from European and Arab countries with local youth in Türkiye in an environment focused on cultural exchange, teamwork, and mutual respect. It aims to support children and young people through sports, arts, and educational activities, while helping reduce excessive dependence on digital devices and encouraging physical activity and social interaction.

Volunteers will take part in organizing creative workshops, conversation clubs, theatre, arts and sports activities, and cultural events, in addition to supporting the education of refugee children, organizing community activities, and visiting a nursing home to promote intergenerational dialogue. The project also offers participants the opportunity to gain experience in Erasmus+ project design and youth work.

Duties & responsibilities
