Furniture Design Competition and a Chance to Win $30,000NTD from CiaZhan

Taiwanese furniture company CiaZhan invites designers from all over the world to participate in the Furniture Design Competition.

Categories:

5-types of Living Furniture:

• Cabinet.
• Shelf.
• Chair & Table.
• Sofas.
• Bed Frame.
• The total height of the bed frame cannot be more than 215 cm; the Total Height of the rest of the design cannot be more than 185 cm, Length and Width are not limited.

• Gold Award: $30,000NTD, a certificate, and a sample of winning entry (1 person).
• Silver Award: $10,000NTD and a certificate (1 person).
• Bronze Award: $5,000NTD and a certificate (1 person).
• Mr./Ms. Popularity $2,500NTD and a certificate (1 person)
• Vendor Favor Award A certificate, and the product will be posted on the fundraising platform after being announced. If the fundraising succeeds, the winner will get a 15% profit sharing. (Several)

• All individual designers, design teams, design institutions, teachers, and students from design schools, and students or ordinary citizens from general non-design majors are welcome to sign up.
• All entries must be the contestant’s own work, complete, and comply with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations of various countries, completely original, no plagiarism, and the entries must have not been published. Once discovered, the eligibility for the entry will be disqualified and the contestant shall bear the corresponding legal responsibilities and consequences.
• If the same entry is registered as an individual, it is not allowed to register as a team, and vice versa.
• The Registration Fee: Free of charge for this stage.
• Available material: Screw-free slotted angle, square pipe, stainless steel, acrylic, wood, plastic, cotton, cloth, foam.
• Prohibit material: animal fur.
• 50% of the product must be metal.

Selection Principles:

• Gold Award, Silver Award, Bronze Award: Selection by professional accreditation, creative features 30%, practical functionality 20%, aesthetics 20%, commodity feasibility 30%.
• Mr. /Ms. Popularity: All entries will be public on CiaZhan’s Facebook fan page two days after the deadline and voted by the netizen, the principles of this award will according to the number of ‘Like’.
• Vendor Favor Award: Judge by the manufacturer whether it can be mass-produced or not.
