Partially Funded Scholarships for International students in Stony Brook University in the USA

Stony Brook University is calling International students for a scholarship opportunity; Global Excellence Scholarship. This is a four-year scholarship for high school students who have achieved a meritorious unweighted average. As well, co-curricular activities, research experiences, or special talents or skills may be taken into account. 

If you get this scholarship, you will have:

• Direct costs that include:
• Tuition fees.
• Room, and board (if living on campus). 

Please note: Indirect costs are not paid and include books, supplies, transportation, and personal expenses.  

You must follow the following terms:

1. International students who are currently seniors in high school and have achieved a meritorious high school average are automatically considered for this scholarship.
2. Scholarships vary based on academic qualifications.
3. You must maintain full-time enrollment (12 or more credits) as a matriculated undergraduate student at Stony Brook University.
4. If you withdraw from a term, enroll for less than full-time, or take one or more semesters off, your scholarship will not be renewed. 
5. You must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 at the end of each academic year.
6. This award may be reduced and/or canceled if other combined grants/scholarships exceed the total cost of education.
7. This award will be canceled if you are charged the New York State tuition rate.
8. If you are found responsible for academic dishonesty or any other violation of the Student Conduct, you will lose your scholarship support.
