Singapore Fintech Festival is inviting innovators all over the world to participate in the Global Fintech Hackcelerator 2021 and solve industry and business challenges. The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) launched the MAS Global FinTech Hackcelerator which seeks to identify and recognise ground-breaking solutions that can enable the financial sector to respond to the existential challenge of our time – climate change. This year’s Global FinTech Hackcelerator focuses on Green Finance and the role of Green FinTechs in the ecosystem.

- Mobilise Capital
- Increase access to capital for Green projects or solutions.
- Monitor Commitment
- Enhance Investor and Financial Institution ease of monitoring sustainability commitments from issuers.
- Measure Impact
- Improve ability to measure impact of loans and investments against their stated sustainability goals.
Benefits
Finalists and winning teams will get:
- All finalists will receive a cash stipend of S$20,000 each (about 15,000 USD)
- All finalists will be fast-tracked to receive up to S$200,000 in MAS Financial Sector Technology and Innovation Proof-of-Concept grant.

Eligibility criteria
- The Global FinTech Hackcelerator is open to all start-ups with a market-ready product.
- All solution providers with a market-ready solution that can address any of the published problem statements are eligible.
- You may submit more than 1 proposal. However, each proposal should answer a different problem statement.
About Singapore Fintech Festival:-
Singapore FinTech Festival is the largest FinTech festival in the world and a knowledge platform for the global FinTech community. It is organized annually by the Monetary Authority of Singapore in partnership with The Association of Banks in Singapore and in collaboration with SingEx Holdings. Initially, Singapore FinTech Festival 2016 had started with a number of features including the FinTech Awards, the Global FinTech Hackcelerator and three FinTech conferences which focused on a number of topics such as API, Big Data, Blockchain, Machine Learning, RegTech and Tech Risk.
