The World Literacy Foundation Youth Ambassador Program (YAP) is an international volunteer program that aims to empower young people to raise awareness about the importance of education and literacy around the world.
The program provides participants with the opportunity to develop leadership and community engagement skills by implementing educational initiatives and activities within their communities, while joining a global network of young people committed to creating positive change in education and sustainable development.
Duties & responsibilities
- Raising awareness about literacy and the importance of education in society
- Organizing or participating in educational activities and initiatives
- Promoting the organization’s campaigns on social media
- Collaborating with other ambassadors from different countries
- Preparing simple reports on activities and initiatives
- Proposing new ideas to support education and reading
- Representing the program and participating in events (online or locally)
Eligibility criteria
- Age: 15 to 26 years old
- The program is open to all nationalities
- Interested in education, literacy, and community work
- Ability to commit to program activities
- Good communication skills
