Opportunity description
The Goethe-Institut has opened applications for its Visual Arts Project Fund 2027, offering grants of up to €25,000 to support joint artistic and cultural projects between creatives based in Germany and partners from countries around the world.
The fund aims to strengthen international artistic collaboration and build sustainable professional networks among artists, curators, researchers, and cultural practitioners by supporting projects that cross geographic boundaries and bring together diverse cultural perspectives and experiences.
The programme focuses on projects based on equal collaboration between partners from at least two countries, one of which must be Germany, and that present innovative ideas with a clear artistic and social impact. It also encourages interdisciplinary projects that combine artistic research, experimentation, audience engagement, and interaction with local communities.
