Opportunity description
A valuable opportunity to volunteer with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) in the Arab Region, one of the leading programs aimed at empowering young women and strengthening their leadership roles at the regional level.
The program allows participants to engage in diverse teams and contribute to implementing initiatives and projects that support the development of the guiding movement in the Arab world. It also provides hands-on experience in teamwork, international communication, and leadership skill-building within a multicultural environment.
Duties & responsibilities
- Work within a diverse, multicultural international team
- Build a network with volunteers and experts from different countries
- Develop skills in leadership, teamwork, and project management
- Gain experience in digital work and remote collaboration
- Strengthen your CV with strong regional experience
- Exchange knowledge and experiences across Arab countries
Eligibility criteria
- Be a member of a guiding/scouting association affiliated with the Arab Region
- Be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate remotely
- Commitment to dedicate monthly time to participate in activities (approximately 10 hours)
- Preferably have communication skills in English
- Interest in developing leadership skills and engaging in community work
