Opportunity description
Simon Fraser University is calling both new domestic and international students to scholarship opportunities. It offers about twenty-five scholarships that aim to assist students for whom the cost of attending university would be a significant barrier to accepting their admission to the university.
Benefits
If you get this scholarship, you will have:
- $5,000 (1 installment).
Please note:
- Your funding offer can be used towards any outstanding balance on your SFU student accounts such as tuition, student fees, and residence.
- On the other hand, the funding cannot be used towards meals, textbooks, or supplies.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible, you must have:
- A demonstrated need.
- Grades in the 80% range in courses required for your selected program or the minimum IB diploma score required for admission.
Please note:
- If you have been offered two SFU entrance scholarships, you will only receive the one with the higher value.
- Students may have SFU entrance bursaries and awards in addition to entrance scholarships.
